Valentine's Day Table Runner

Do you use table runners as part of your Valentine’s Day decorating? They are a great way to dress up an area for the holiday. This one is made up entirely of felt hearts that I cut out last night after dinner.

If you scroll you will see different ways that the same hearts could be used. What I like best about making my own table runners is that I can custom design it so it fits my table or other areas, such as a fireplace mantle, perfectly.

I used three different colors in this design, but I invite you to experiment with different colors and fabrics. For example, burlap and felt work beautifully together. You could even make your hearts out of paper.
