Pick the Perfect Lamp

When I shop for lamps I like to buy clear base ones that have an open bottom. This is because I like to add fairy lights into the base decorated for the various holidays.

Fairy lights come in so many colors now and have timers. Once you set things up, you don’t even have to worry about turning them off and on.

I love the soft glow they create with the paper hearts for Valentine’s Day. This would be especially sweet in a child’s or guest bedroom, but I use mine in the family room. My house panther likes an extra snack around 3:00 am and the fairy lights are gentle on the eyes at that time.
