Orange Wine

Today is National Orange Wine Day!

You’re probably thinking what I thought- “Wine made out of oranges?!?”, but that isn’t the case.

Orange wine is made of white wine grapes that are fermented with their skins intact. This is what gives the finished product its distinct color. This wine can range from beautiful shades of tangerine to a more subdued golden color. The flavor is described as being robust and full-bodied, much like red wines. However, they also have the qualities of a refreshing white wine.

I invite you to head to the liquor store, pick up a few varieties and gather with your best buddies to sample this wine while working on a few Halloween crafts. It is the perfect color for the season! 🎃
