Love Bookends

Bookends can really add a decorative touch to shelving and I wanted to try my hand at woodworking so this is what I did.

The craft store had the “love” letters and I had a scrap piece of wood that I cut in half. My nail gun, some wood glue and a little white caulking to hide the nail holes was all it took to get the desired look.

I’m pleased with the result. Never be afraid to try something you have before. You might just surprise yourself like I did. Besides, mistakes can always be fixed and learning new things just adds to your bags of tricks.
