Gourd Turkey


Gobble! Gobble! 🦃

Remember, sometimes the easiest crafts are the best ones because everyone can join in on the fun.

Head outside with the little ones and let them pick out their favorite leaves. Then head to the table and let them cut out the turkey’s head, feet, beak, eyes and, of course, his wattle. With white glue or glue stick, glue these pieces to a gourd or mini pumpkin (real or like the fake one I used) and then use the leaves to make the turkey’s fan (tail).


It’s a great time to let their imaginations run wild. Turkeys can be every color and shape, so try different style gourds and enjoy the giggles.
