Ghost Leave Craft

Need a quick Halloween craft?

Grab some leaves! 🍁🍂

You’ll also need some white paint. I didn’t prepare the leaves in any special way. I found different varieties outside in the yard, removed the stems and immediately spray painted them with 2 coats of semi gloss white paint (20 minute dry time between coats) and then let them dry overnight. The eyes and mouth were added with a black marker. I suppose if you prefer your “ghosts” to be perfectly flat, you may want to press them for a couple days.

They can be used in a variety of ways to decorate. Add a magnet (scroll to see this) for a fun addition to the ‘fridge, glue some fishing line or thread to the back and hang them all over the house, press a few of them in tiny frames to add to a table display or maybe use them as a placeholder on your Halloween table.

They’ll be a welcome addition however you decide to use them.
