Welcome February and a very happy birthday to all of you who will be celebrating this month!
In honor of both of those things, I thought it might be fun to also pay tribute to your official birth flower - violets. This delicate flowering plant is a favorite of many people because it adds a pop of color in the house during those later winter months. Felt violets also do this and, best of all, they need no care whatsoever!
Start to finish this project will take less than a hour. I decided to “plant” my violets into an old chipped teacup and sized them accordingly. Your plant may be smaller or larger depending what you choose, so please keep that in mind. Pink and white violets are also very pretty and multiple plants look gorgeous grouped together.
