DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Ring

Make an ear of corn napkin ring!

Use a paper towel tube (cut to the size that works best for you), brown paper bag, glue (hot for you, white for the littles) and popcorn kernels (any dried bean will do though) to create a festive napkin ring to decorate your Thanksgiving table.

One tip I will share is that you put the kernels in a big bowl, cover half the paper tube with glue (the other half will have the paper husk leaves glued to it after the kernels are in place) and then dip the tube into the kernels. If a few spots are missed just add a spot of glue where needed and add a kernel or two.

This project is fun for everyone and it upcycles everyday items. Use different color papers if you prefer and consider mixing kernels and dried beans to give your napkin ring an ornamental corn vibe.
