DIY Leprechaun Headband Hat

Behold, the headband leprechaun hat! 😂

When Santa saw yesterday’s leprechaun candy dish he said, “You could wear that as a hat!” Great idea!

I used Santa’s New Year’s Eve headband (you know I save everything) as my starting point. I cut off three of the numbers so that the can could be glued in place. If you don’t have that option, you can just glue the solid portion of the can to your headband AFTER you glue the brim in place. In either case, scroll to see the steps to get inspired.

I’m aware that you can buy a ready made one, but the nice thing about making your own is because you are able to completely customize it, no one else will have it! Get creative and have fun. You could even share this idea with your family and friends and have them make their own to wear to your St. Patrick’s Day party. Have a prize or two ready for the best ones.
