DIY Easter Trivets

Easter brunch, Easter lunch, Easter dinner - whichever you celebrate (and maybe you celebrate all of them), one thing that comes in handy are hot pads and these add a fun festive touch to the table or serving area.

When you are making food for a big meal it’s hard to have enough places to put all those hot dishes safely. Hot pads are the perfect answer. These are easily made by glueing felt and fabric eggs onto cork. You can buy the ready-made cork hot pads or for less money you can buy cork tiles and cut them into any shape you’d like!

If you are bringing a dish to an event, why not include a couple of these for the hostess to keep. They are also perfect to use under plants or flower filled vases.
