Carrot Patch Cupcakes

Everybunny will be smiling if you make these Carrot Patch Cupcakes!

As promised - another Easter cupcake idea for you. Admittedly, there are a few steps, but look how cute they are! Totally worth it. Let’s break it down.

-Bake your favorite chocolate cupcake and let it cool completely

-Cut out the center - cut 4 sides on an angle so it makes a point not quite to the bottom

-Save the cupcake centers in a bowl

-Lightly frost around the center with your favorite chocolate frosting

-With a fork, crumb up the centers and sprinkle on the frosted cupcake edges (being careful not to get any in the hole) lightly tapping them into place

-Fill the hole with orange colored vanilla frosting by using a piping bag and a Wilton tip. Overfill the hole so that the “carrot” looks like it is coming out of the ground

-Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

-Melt vanilla chocolate in the microwave and tint it green. Fill a ziplock baggie with the melted green chocolate and snip a TINY hole on one corner.

-Create carrot tops by gently piping chocolate through baggie onto parchment paper. Put into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to harden

-Gently peel chocolate from parchment paper and stick into carrot

-Enjoy!
